Inconel 600 Sheet & Strip for Custom Springs and Stampings

Please note that we do not sell Inconel 600 or any other materials in raw form. Inconel 600 sheet and strip are material options for custom springs, etc., manufactured by Peninsula Spring.

Inconel 600 is a nonmagnetic, nickel-based, high temperature alloy. It possesses an excellent combination of high strength, hot and cold workability, and resistance to most ordinary forms of corrosion. Inconel 600 also displays good heat resistance and is impervious to aging or stress corrosion throughout the annealed to heavily cold worked condition range.

Heat Treating Inconel 600

This material is delivered in pre-tempered condition, and therefore no further hardening can be obtained through heating. However, depending on your application, completed Inconel 600 flat springs and sheet metal stampings can undergo a stress-relieving process.

Manufacturing Custom Inconel 600 Springs & Stampings

Inconel 600 is cold drawn to the required temper. The high nickel content gives the material high resistance to corrosion caused by many organic and inorganic compounds; it also makes Inconel 600 virtually immune to chloride stress-corrosion cracking.
