Elgiloy Sheet & Strip for Custom Springs and Stampings
Please note that we do not sell Elgiloy or any other materials in raw form. Elgiloy sheet and strip are material options for custom springs, etc., manufactured by Peninsula Spring.
Elgiloy is a cobalt-chromium-nickel (Co-Cr-Ni) “super alloy”. It exhibits good mechanical properties, high strength and
ductility, good fatigue life, and can be age-hardened. Elgiloy is ideal for manufacturing custom springs and custom stampings for applications that require high corrosion resistance and/or low relaxation at temperatures up to 600°F (316°C). Additionally, the material exhibits spring properties similar to 17-7 PH stainless steel.

Manufacturing Custom Elgiloy Springs & Stampings
Elgiloy is cold drawn and precipitation hardened after fabrication. The alloy is suitable for use in fresh water, industrial and marine atmospheres, and mild chemical and oxidizing environments. It does very well in high temperature environments. Elgiloy offers spring properties very similar to 17-7 PH stainless steel.
