Elgiloy Wire for Custom Springs & Custom Wire Forms
Please note that we do not sell Elgiloy or any other materials in raw form. Elgiloy wire is a material option for custom springs, etc., manufactured by Peninsula Spring.
Elgiloy is a “super alloy” composed of cobalt-chromium-nickel (Co-Cr-Ni). It offers a combination of high strength, high ductility, and good mechanical properties, and can be age-hardened. Custom Elgiloy springs and custom Elgiloy wire forms are ideal for applications requiring high corrosion resistance and/or low relaxation at temperatures up to 600°F (316°C). Elgiloy also exhibits spring properties very similar to 17-7 PH stainless steel.

Manufacturing Custom Elgiloy Springs & Wire Forms
Elgiloy is cold drawn and precipitation hardened after fabrication. It is suitable for freshwater applications, industrial and marine atmospheres, and mild chemical and oxidizing environments. Elgiloy alloy does very well in high-temperature environments and exerts spring properties similar to 17-7 PH stainless steel.
